Microsoft Future Pro Photographer Contest

Microsoft is holding an inaugural photography contest this month for college students with a grand prize of $20,000. Those in advanced degree programs are eligible too. I usually ster people away from photo contests. Most of them are just a way to make money through entry fees and have no effect on an aspiring photographer's resume. (The exceptions are contests by professional trade journals like Communication Arts.) However, as best as I can tell there are no entry fees for this contest, and the potential prizes are good enough for it be worth someone's time. The submission period is May 1st through May 31st.
