• Photography and Illustration

  I'm a professional photographer and illustrator. My business, Terry Smith Images, licenses my work as stock photography and illustration to a diverse mix of commercial, publishing, and editorial clients. My images have appeared in books, magazines, calendars, brochures, advertisements, TV commercials, and other media (even on keychains :) in countries worldwide.

• Software

  I'm a Software Architect and co-founder of Insight Ecosystems LLC, a company that provides leading-edge business intelligence ecosystems to retail banking and financial services clients.

  I wrote a free, online e-Book called Doing Objects in VB.NET and C#. The PDF version was once for sale and sold to readers in countries all over the world and across the United States. It was translated into zero other languages -- a testament to its universial, no-translation-needed appeal.

• Writing

  My blog is updated on a consistently random basis.
  My Amazon.com profile has book, music, and product reviews (which I usually post on my blog as well).

• Painting

  I enjoy oil painting and drawing purely as a hobby, though with the added benefit that some of them have been licensed as illustrations.
